Wheel of Time Mammas

Was curious if anyone has read the Wheel of Time series here by Robert Jordan.

I'm a pretty fan myself and have been involved in different communities based around it for the past 6 years.

Oh, ME! me, me, me!

I was crushed to hear of his death!

I have the prequel too, and the whole series in hardback, and the one big background book.

Do you think Cadsuane is Black Ajah?

Hehe, I have the whole thing, including the prequel.

Very sad to hear that he died. Though he left extensive notes and his wife has apparently picked another author to finish it.

I'm holding out hope...but how do you copy a style like that?

I'm glad they picked someone.

Big, big fan! I am glad someone is finishing it. I don't even particularly care if they copy the style. At this point I want darn closure! FTR, I don't think Cadsuane is Black Ajah.

Oh yeah! Other WoT fans!!

I don't think Cadsuane is Black. lol

The author to write the last book is Ben Sanderson.

It was really sad when James (RJ) died. I was in shock when I found out. I have met him several times.

There will be a Jordan Con in Atlanta Georgia in Spring 2009 and Wilson, RJ's cousin and Harriet, his wife will be there.

I run a small WoT community/role play site so know a lot of the goings on in the WoT world. hehe

I hope we get to see Elayne's twins born too. How awesome has Egwene turned in the last book?? I really hope Ben does a good job. I think there will be a lot of unanswered questions either way though, cause RJ said there would be.

Even at the end of the last book, I didn't think he could wrap it up in just one nore book. I was thinking maybe two, but there are so many subplots running, unless somehting pulls them all together in a hurry, I don't think one book will be enough.
I did sense that some major plot culmination was about to take palce though. Argh! I've waited in agony for each successive book ever since book three, and I can;t stand it.

Do you know anything about Ben Sanderson? what's he written?

Oops! Brandon is his first name. Here is a link to his website: http://www.brandonsanderson.com/

He has written some other fantasy type books.

The first 3 were great but after that not so much. I do want to try and read them all again though. I think I got to book 9 before...
