They also seem a bit short in the rise but since they are for the baby in the belly still....I can't try them on to see. I'm due in about a month and won't use these til fall/winter.
I would like to make a complimentary hat to go with them for winter wear. What size would a 9-12 month's head be on average. I tend to have smaller babies. I am thinking something with a knit rolled edge, a few bands of seed stitch and stockinette stitch to match the pants. I've never created my own pattern but I figure this is pretty straight forward...maybe....
