Maybe, possibly, sorta...

In labor.

I've been having contractions since around 9:00pm. They are hoovering around 4-6 minutes apart, about 1 minute in length. Not painful, but a wee bit uncomfortable.

Starting to get scared about the pain.. Cause either way there is a baby coming out, and its not going to tickle. Keep trying to tell myself to accept it. It will come and it will go. Hard to get over the nervousness, even though I did this 21 months ago!

Wish me luck ladies. I am going to try to get some rest.. I'll update when I know more.

Update: 3:30am..

No longer sleeping through them.. Pain seems to be consintrated on my left side, under my hip and going into my thigh then into my back. If this isn't it, man..

Edit:
Pain in my hips went away after awhile that I was moving through them. Laid down again. Labor stopped at 6:00am.

UGH.

I had been trying to lay down as much as possible to get some rest, and I guess that did it. I keep telling myself if it went away, it wasnt really labor.. but I am kicking myself for not moving and trying to keep them going :/

I'm sorry it stalled. Maybe that was your 'warm-up' round and you will have that baby really quick tonight!

Ugh, I'm so sorry it stalled out. I've been going through this EVERY night for over a week now, and it's making me insane too. I keep wondering if there is something I should be doing to keep things going, or if I have to just wait for the "real thing" to kick in on its own. I've never had this "false labor" experience before, so I don't know what to make of it!

I hope the real thing comes soon for you!

I don't understand it. I had prodomonal labor with my first, but never this.. "i am in labor!" "erm.. no, I am not in labor.." "Nope, really. It's been going on for 5 hours! I am in labor!" "cranky!"

I think maybe the issue is position? I've heard that the on and off can be caused by lack of a good position.. if the baby is not in a LOA position?
Here's to both of us! I hope we have our LO's soon!

Yeah, that can do it. Have you been doing lots of pelvic tilts?? That might help. I hope it happens soon.
