Embellishment ideas please :)

These are my first knit for the coming baby boy. I made them knowing I would embellish them in some way, that's why I made them kind of plain. So now that I'm done I need ideas! The only thing I can think of is to make a vine with leaves going all over. Does anyone have any other options for me?

I have an overwhelming urge to put a white scotty dog on there. I guess a cat would do though

I don't know why Amy, but for some reason, I can totally see a stars and moon kind of scene on it...I have no idea, but that's the first thing that popped into my head when I saw them.

We don't have a dog but it would be cute with some little dog bones around the bottom cuffs. With my cat I'd have to stitch on some hairballs!

I could do stars and moons. Wouldn't be that difficult either using crocheted fridgie type things. I actually thought of a pair like that but wanted to use a base color of dark blue or black. I like the general sky idea!
