our dishwasher arrived today, was installed and is ready for use! i've been doing some research on natural alternatives to dishwasher detergents and i'm certain that a combination of baking soda, vinegar and a bit of dr bronners will do the trick... but i'm just not sure how much of each.
(i dont want to use any borax or washing soda as almost everything we own is glass and borax and washing soda are very harsh on glass.)
i just did my first load of dishes and used 1 tablespoon of baking soda, 5ml of my normal natural dishwashing liquid (not Dr B's) and there was about 5ml of vinegar automatically dispensed during the rinse cycle... the wash has just finished and there are a couple items have come with either a little bit of a white-ish residue or a brown-ish residue.
whats that from?? and how much of each BS, V and Dr B's do you reccomend?
thanks!
