I'm going to make myself a butter / lotion and was wondering what is the best ingredients and place to get them.
I know I want to use cocoa and shea butter, but what else is good. And who has the best quality and prices?

I recommend Mountain Rose Herbs. There is a link to their site on the top left of MDC. I make body butter with shea & almond oil. It is great. A little vit E would be great too.

So many things to choose from. What else should I mix with my Coconut oil, olive oil, shea butter and cocoa butter? I'm thinking about the almond oil, but is there anything else that's really good for dehydrated skin, and possible future pregnancy use?

I am going to try making a lotion with shea, almond oil, & vegetable glycerin. Glycerin is a humectant, so it not only seals in moisture, it helps draw moisture from the environment. I will let you know how it goes.
