Who has better coverage EveryDay Minerals or Bare Essentials?

I have bad acne scars and I need a mineral makeup with good coverage. I have been using Bare Essentials but Every Day minerals is cheaper...does it give good coverage?

I have also heard that EveryDay is having tons of problems with back orders and consistent matching colors?

Any input would be appreciated!

I've never tried Bare Essentials, so I can't compare the two. I've been using Every Day Minerals for close to a year. I don't have great skin (used to use a liquid foundation) and I've been happy with the coverage. I've never had anything but excellent customer service from them. I once had something back ordered. It got to me less than a week after the rest of my order and they threw in a free lip gloss as an apology for the inconvenience. I've never had a problem with colors not matching.

I've been using Everyday Minerals for over a year without any problems whatsoever. I have also tried BE but it made me break out. I'm kind of glad it did since it was so much more expensive!!

I thought coverage was about the same for both. The beauty of mineral makeup is that you can adjust the coverage by applying more powder or applying it with a heavier hand.

I just got my samples from www.ktnaturals.com (nope, I'm not affiliated with them!)
Anyway, I love it-- the coverage is great for my pregnancy acne!!!
and, it is owned by a MDC mama-- but I promise, I'm telling you because it is a great product!

I've been using Bare Minerals for a couple of years now, I also have acne scars. It covers well, but after a couple of hours on it feels so gross on my face, I hate wearing it. I think I'll look into the other...

I agree. I ordered samples ages ago to try out the eyeshadows- I'm still using them!! Just the small samples provide so much product.

I have tried both and like Bare Minerals. I get them off of ebay for dirt cheap.

EM has wonderful coverage!
Yes, color matching is an issue, but I think that's the fun part! Nothing like having lots of colors to play with.
And things do get backordered, but that happens with any company.

I totally vote for EM over BM any day.

I've used both, and honestly, I really like Everyday Minerals better! I like the bigger color selection of Bare Minerals for eyes, etc. but I really like EM foundation much better.

another vote for ktnaturals! The colors are MUCH easier to match, just look at their colors on the websites (EM vs. KT) and you can see what i mean. I also find the em to give a more shiny look and it shows pores more, I much prefer the coverage and finish of KTnaturals, TOP notch customer service too.

Good to know! I tried Arbonne brand Mineral Wear makeup and it hurt my face. :-( When I started sweating it began feeling like a million little beestings all over my face. I had to go home and wash it all off right away. My skin is usually not sensitive at all, so this was odd. I am now scared all mineral makeups will do that to me.

I agree, EM does accentuate your pores more. I now use only KT. I never tried BE. KT Naturals is a great product. I've been extrememly pleased with everything I've used.

Physician's Formula has a new line of chemical free organic make-up that you can buy at your local Target. It is much cheaper than anything I've found on-line, and it has excellent coverage. When I was using other mineral cosmetics, I was having to apply a white translucent base and a yellow color to cover red patches, AS WELL AS my foundation. With this stuff, I just apply the powder foundation and I don't have to apply anything else. I really, really like it. Here's a link:

I always get the sensation every single time my face sweats!! It doesn't matter if I am wearing makeup or not. Isn't it awful!!!!????

Sheer Cover

My mom and my friend both swear by Sheer Cover. I have never used any of them, but they both triend BE and Sheer Cover and think Sheer Cover is the best.

Did anyone see that BE is sold at target now? And so is ALBA body products!

For those who find that EM is shiny and makes your pores look big...I had that problem when I used their Original Glo formula. Their semi-matte is much better but I still go with their matte formula. Just my 2c, do whatcha like
