Neon pee?

I started taking Rainbow Light prenatals last night... This morning my pee was NEON!!! Is this normal?

The neon colour is a result of your kidneys flushing out the vitamins & such that your body currently doesn't need.

I'm not pregnant, but I get the same effect when I take magnesium supplements- not so much with the multivits though.

Just my two bobs worth- i'm not normally in this thread but I was scanning the new posts.... hth.

Neon yellow is okay. Neon blue is very, very bad.

It's probably one of the B vitamins...I can't remember which (maybe riboflavin) but one of them will turn your pee neon yellow.

Thanks Ladies! If it had been neon blue I would have been running to the doctor! At least it still looked like pee... Although bright! My other prenatals didn't do this but I remember reading that Rainbow is easier for the body to process so I guess that's why the color has changed.

Pretty much all vitamins do that to me, and I had always heard it was one of the B vitamins that did it. There was just one brand that didn't, I think it was Baby & Me, and I never did figure out why.
