Or as I like to call it, a neck warmer.

This thing took me about 2 weeks. Im a beginner (this being my very first knitting project) and figured it would take longer. So needless to say, I was very pleased with the 2 weeks time.
I used cheapy Sensation 100% wool yarn from Michaels. I started making a scarf but found that I had 5 extra stitches a little ways into the project
: I have no idea how I managed that to happen. I really didn't want to frog (am I using this right?) so I decided to use it. I suppose this is how the scarf became a faux scarf.
So, on the back of the warmer, there is a couple extra rows, in the middle of the piece, that sit higher on your neck (just below the ears). They can also be folded down.
DD seems to be happy with it and I had fun making it
