I guess they figure because it's in the same state that it's ok, but it's basically as far as you can get in the same state without really leaving it. He's going to be 5 hours away! Of course he can leave whenever I tell him it's time but I was only in labor with our last baby for 5 hours, what if this one is even faster.
I'm so mad! : I know that if he doesn't go nothing will happen but of course now that he is going I'm freaked out that my water will break or I'll go into labor tonight or tomorrow. Ugh I'm so pissed!! :

Hmmm.... last week, my MW told me a story about a woman who was on a trip with her DH and ended up at a sub-standard hotel. She really believed she was in labor - but WILLED herself not to have a baby. Apparantly, there are all kinds of relationships in our brain dealing with fear, anxiaty, etc that will prevent a baby from being born... or at least postpone the birth. Perhaps it's good that you're stressing about it?
Of course, that may be why if you want to go into labor, the best thing to do is relax, do some meditations, etc....
