Will chickens eat oranges? UPDATE

I have a drawer full that nobody touched.


My hens wanted no part of these oranges. However, the citrus must have smelled mighty attractive to the bugs because they came. So my girls had a feast on bugs.

The one things mine will not touch is citrus fruits, but you can always try!

My chicken friends eat citrus...you just have to bust the oranges open for them

IME the flesh but not the peel, so cut them in half.......and be prepared to clean up all the peels!

same as pp...mine will eat the insides but not the peels.. those end up in the compost after they are done with them..
