Yes, I have been on a finishing bit lately. 
Magic Slippers from Sockpixie.
Super easy, uses next to nothing on yarn (I still have part of my "walnut" left for both booties! The fit could use some work. The baby was able to kick them off (I think in part to it being a tad smaller than the other) but that could very easily be solved. They fit like ballet slippers so I think if I were to add a round or two to the height they'd be good to go (they were made almost a month apart though and I know the first one turned out a tad bigger due to a few extra picked up stitches so there was a couple extra rounds on that one as a result). I think the length needs added to as well. These are snug on the baby and he was born on the 4th (we gave them to them yesterday).

I think these may become my new baby shower gift. Nice and quick and cute and look more complicated than they are.
