I'll be on around 8:45 Pacific time on http://www.knx1070.com/ . I believe you should be able to listen to it live on the internet but you need to register first. Registration is free and takes less than a minute. Go to the site and click on "listen live."

Should be fun!

Did I read a previous post correctly.............Prince Charles was delivered by c-section at BUCKINGHAM PALACE? They have an operating room in there? That's crazy.

Does anyone know if Julia Roberts is still nursing her twins?

Cindy Crawford may have had her kids at home, but I distinctly recall her being pro-mommies that CHOOSE not to bf. : Can anyone say for certain one way or another?

This is such an interesting thread!
I know that Asia Carrera (former porn star) attempted a homebirth with her first but after 80 some hours of labor she ended up with a hospital birth. She is EBF her DD and PG with #2, last I heard she may attempt another homebirth, and is planning to tandem BF. She seems very AP and is really cool and funny.

and toni braxton is not a very informed mother. she said she was going to bottle-feed so she could have a life. whatever.

celebrities are so fruity.
I think it is hilarious when people give a reason for doing something stupid and really showing their ignorance! I have known many people who give excuses for why they didnt' breastfeed...and once I uncover it, there is usually a BIG guilt reason. They feel they have to give an excuse (which is usually lame) to cover these feelings of extreme guilt. If they CHOSE to not bf--like Toni Braxton--they should feel guilty! IMHO!

Laura

I listened live at 8:45 PDT this morning (just a little while ago) but there was no interview with Laura Shanley. Instead, it was a live phone interview with John Kerry (yuck).

Did I get the time wrong?

Yes, Kerry was in town and they gave him my slot! I'll be on tomorrow (Tues.) at 8:45. Sorry about that. I didn't know I wasn't going to be on until they called me during Kerry's interview.

What a disappointment...

Here's the article on Gwyneth Paltrow's birth this weekend:

And here's the one that says it was a planned C-section:

Or if Laura Shanley would talk about how less uptight John Kerry would be if he had been born at home....now that would be interesting.

I just did an interview with OK! Magazine. The news director said he heard me on the radio the other day talking about Tom and Katie! He was actually driving by Tom's house at the time. He asked me what advice I had for Katie and I basically said she should trust herself, trust her body and do what SHE feels like doing. I actually said a LOT more than that but since this is an article about Katie I assume they won't go into my comments about unassisted childbirth and the dangers of hospital birth. Knowing how the media works (and how many times I've ended up on the cutting room floor) I'll be happy if they include any comments from me at all! The article should hit the stands in about a week. OK! is sold in most grocery stores, I believe.
