Those with kids of both genders...

Did your pregnancies seem different or the same? I already have 2 girls and my pg with them was pretty much similar. So far this one has been about the same too. Just wondering how it was for others. I have NO insight what so ever what this one might be (gender wise)!

Mine were totally similar.
I always find it interesting to read the threads where Mamas have different symptoms during their pregnancy and assume it's the opposite gender.

Mine were pretty similar... the second was my boy and that pregnancy was much harder. It was like everything that was hard about the first one was amplified, but I've heard it goes that way with each subsequent pg... each one being harder. This one isn't going so well already

My oldest is a girl and I also have two boys. The pregnancies with all of them were relatively similar. I have never been one to have many symptoms and if I do they are mild. I have had others tell me that their pregnancies with different genders were totally different. I guess it follows the old pregnancy rule that there are no rules!!

#1 Boy:Minor upset tummy but no :Puke Very moody and b*****, craved chinese food, meat, potatoes, carbs
#2 and 3 girls:No upset tummy at all Very laid back, craved fruit, bread and mexican food.
So for me they have been different the only thing that hasn't changed in any of them is heartburn! Uhh
So far this one: some upset tummy and have almost :Puke ,Massive mood swings, very emotional craving chinese and potatoes. Can't stand the thought of mexican right now lol and can't drink juice either hmmm we shall see

Thanks for the replies. I have always have very mild symptoms with pregnancy as well. I *knock on wood!!!!* have never thrown up from being pregnant (hence my massive pg weight gain. LOL!!!). My poor dh would die if this one ended up being another girl. haha I'm game either way but its fun to try and guess whats going on in there too.

Yeah we are all kinda pulling/hoping its a boy. I have loved having my girls but I miss having a little man as my son is soon to be 13 I know I would be ok either way but I know DF is really wanting a boy. I know he would love s/he either way

With my girls, nausea and vomiting.

With DS very limited nausea and no vomiting.

i had very different symptoms with both my daughters. with dd1, no nausea, craving sweets & chocolate; with dd2, constant nausea, craving salty foods & meat. i was convinced my 2d would be a boy!

this time, i have exactly the same symptoms as with dd2... so, who knows? i think every pg is different, and that predicting gender based on symptoms or cravings is an old wives' tale.

I carried a bit different with my boy but everything else was basically the same.

I think the differences in my pregnancy were due to nutrition more than gender.

The only thing that has ever been different was with my girls I got late and faint BFP's, with the boys, dark and early. I usually sail through pregnancy with very lil complications or discomforts...I guess thats why I have done it so many times.

With DS I gained weight everywhere. I was 243lbs the day I delivered him. With the girls I was much smaller and super tired. I don't know if the tired was because I was chasing after other kids or what but it was bad.

My first was a boy and I had a easy pregnancy, nauseau (sp?) maybe twice? My 2nd was a girl and I definitely had more nauseas (sp?) feelings. I also vomited more - I remember telling dh that this better be a girl and her hormones messing me up!

nothing yet with this one..

I don't have both genders but just wanted to say that my pregnancies with my boys were ENTIRELY different. All the old wives tales said that my symptoms I had with ds#2 was going to be a girl and he is ALL boy!
