Yay for recycling fleece! DSS dumped a bunch of old fleece sweaters on me so I got to work cutting them and trying a Kwik Sew cover pattern. Gotta say, it was easy peasy compared to the diapers I made!

Hehe the grey cover comes from a sweater that had a charcoal body and light grey sleeves, so I cut the leg portion from the sleeves. I kept the rest of the sleeves to make recycled fleece longies.

You can't see it in the pics, but I added an internal wet-zone soaker on the inside (hence the zigzag stitching you see on the outside), just in case there's leaks.

What I REALLY want is to get my hands on some cute printed polar fleece and makes TONS of these covers in small and medium, so I don't run out when bellybean growns up...they're so cute and I'm told fleece is nice as breathable as opposed to PUL.

ohhh that's some great ideas!!!

I just made this diaper out of alpine fleece in the outer and soaker layer with birdseye fabric and a recycled terry washcloth, then a recycled pillowcase (inner), it came out like a nice prefold and will use with pins.

I have something for you PM me your addy!!!!
