How often are you bathing your babe? - Page 2

Z gets a bath every couple of days . .. she doesn't seem to mind them, and the smelly milk collecting in her neck folds . . . .well, it's too much for me sometimes! I do my best to get the stuff out, but she drips milk everywhere! It's nice for a day or so, then . . . well, not so nice!

KristyDi: I drop food on Rowan's head all the time. Poor thing. I was nursing her at a bus stop the other day while eating a chicken sandwich, and suddenly realised I'd been shedding crumbs in her ear for some time. Poor wee lassie looked like she had a bad case of dandruff.

She had a bath with me today and LOVED it! I must have got the temperature just right for once, because she didn't squeal at all when she got in, and she had the loveliest time kicking around and trying to drink the bathwater while Daddy tried to get the fluff out from between her fingers. It was nice.

He gets a bath 1-2 times a day. He is really calmed by the bath though. Also, we bathe together and he spits up and lets my milk leak so we both get pretty stinky. And he has thick long hair that i am always dropping crumbs in since i : while i nurse.

Alex gets a bath every 10-14 days. Basically he has to be awake, calm, & well-fed at the same time Andy's ready for a bath and George has to be home because that's his thing, and all those variables come together about that often. His folds & such get wiped out with baby wipes every chance I get (mmm, neck smegma!), so it's more getting him used to being submerged than anything else.
