Enfamil Sending DH Info on Formula

Yesterday I noticed a "packet" of info in my mailbox from Enfamil. I was about to tear it up and recycle it, when I noticed that it was adressed to my HUSBAND! How can that happen? How do these companies know we're even pregnant? I know my pro-breastfeeding doctor is not signing me up for this stuff.

I was so aggravated. There was one of those no-postage-required reply envelopes with the information, so I took a Sharpie and wrote REMOVE MY NAME FROM YOUR MAILING LIST on the propaganda and sent it back to them on their own dime!

I hope it works and they stop sending me stuff. Just venting a little, thanks for reading!

You can call them and find out where they got your info (you'll be able to tell them to take you off their mailing list as well). Are you insured through your husband? I'd place my money on the insurance company selling you out.

YES! Darn insurance company. They must be the culprits. :

Well, if you call they have to tell you where they got your info. In my experience, it might take a few days and you may have to call them back. But if you have that info, then you can complain to whoever gave it to them.

My dh got that in the mail too. We had a homebirth with a midwife so I think our state health insurance gave our name out :

The last info packet we got from Nestle I covered in "Boycott Nestle" stickers and wrote "return to sender" on the envelope. Haven't gotten a thing since, from anyone.

You insurance company? If that's true...that's low.
