I've never been this pregnant before!

DS was born exactly 1 week before my EDD, which, for this pregnancy, would be today. It's weird to think that I've never been quite this pregnant before -- maybe this babe will suddenly arrive in the next few hours and I won't ever have to know what it's like to be 40+ weeks along!

Did your subsequent babies come earlier or later than your first?

Same for me today - DD was born at 39w4d, and here I sit at 39w5d, with nothing really going on. I was so sure he'd come earlier; I never even seriously considered I'd still be pregnant at this point. I'm slowly tossing all my other assumptions out the window... probably not a bad idea though!

DD was born at 38 weeks via c-section, so I've never been this pregnant before either. 40 weeks now. I'm definitely ready for something to happen. I can tell this one is bigger than DD, so we need to go ahead and bring this wee-bit into the world.

That's how I am feeling, too. My DS was born at 39w5d and I am 40 weeks today with no signs of impending labor. I was SURE this baby would arrive sooner. So much for intuition!

DS was born at 8:14 a.m. when I was 40+4. I'm 40+4 today, so I'm about three hours more pregnant than I've ever been.

I feel smaller, though. And I am... I weigh 12 pounds less than I did by the day my water broke with DS (even though I started 10 pounds heavier).

Just this week, everyone's started giving me gender predictions. Last time, it was allll through the pregnancy; this time everyone's waited until the very end. Also, last time, everyone said "girl" while this time they're saying "boy." Does that mean I'll have a girl this time? ;-)

All of my kiddos have been born at 40w3d. I was really hoping this one would be earlier but I guess she's going to follow the trend which means we won't see her until next week
