Babies from Texas compound

I wonder how many breastfed babies were separated from their mothers? Has anyone heard?

I'm not 100% positive, but from the reports I've read, children under 5 are being kept with their mothers. It's the older children who are being seperated. Now of corse some 5 year olds could be breastfeeding, i don't know how common ebfing is in FLDS but I think a 5 year old is a little better able to deal with other food than a 5 month old kwim? Now the comfort factor on the other hand...

I am guessing that they don't nurse older children, unless they all just nurse whomever. A report I just read said most of the kids aren't 100% sure who their parents are because of the communal lifestyle.

I'm going to close this and ask that we please keep any speculative type discussion to the threads in news and current events. If there turns out to be any lactivism/advocating for breastfeeding infants to be done, you can certainly start a thread here. Thanks!
