Oh, do I hear you. I don't know how many women have asked if I've tried "Pregnancy pop" (what appear to me to be overpriced lollipops that "help" w/ morning sickness) or ginger. Um, I'm vomiting multiple times a day here, it's a bit beyond lollipops. And I sensitized myself to ginger last time, so now just the taste makes me nauseous.
I'm taking unisom/B6 every 6 hours, which seems to help somewhat as long as I take it consistently (and don't vomit it back up). I've seen an acupuncturist twice, and both times I only vomited once or twice for several days afterward. But at $60 a visit, it's a bit expensive for only a few days. I had the B vit injections last time and they did nothing, unfortunately. I'm so sick (literally and figuratively) of fighting w/ my HMO that I don't even want to try and get a prescription for zofran or anything else. At least this time around, I know what to do (eat every 1-2 hours, don't let my blood sugar drop, eat even when I know it's going to come back up, small sips of liquid all the time to stay hydrated) and know it's really just a matter of time. I'm staying hydrated and am not shedding ketones, so I must be handling it okay. At least it DID end last time, so I am expecting that it will get better in a few more weeks. Doesn't necessarily make me feel better while I'm vomiting, but there it is.
