Talking about these things is never a waste of time. I've had anxiety/depression most of my life too. I finally started meds in my mid 20's and lucked out - the first one I too just WORKED.
I did stop taking while preg w/ DS and then crashed into horrific PP Anxiety/OCD afterwards. So...back on the meds asap and...well...they worked. Again.
About to have baby #2 (only 9 months after the first! and NO that was NOT the plan!) and I'm apprehensive but I have a plan and I know that IF I have PP issues again I know what to do and most importantly...I KNOW I WILL GET BETTER.
My doc is a specialist in pregnancy related mental health disorders so she knows her stuff and she says that treating women with PPD/anxiety/OCD is very rewarding for her because - with treatment - they ALWAYS get better. Whether its meds, therapy, or a combination.
I've been there, thought I would never get better...and here i am doing it again.

I SO want you to get better so you can enjoy your DD..that is why getting better is so important.....
I hope know that you WILL come out the other side offers does something for you.
