Making Gerber prefolds contoured!

I bought TONS of these with my girls but of course I didn't know how BAD they were, I had to change them every second and hated them but still used them because I wanted to cloth diped. Anyways, I found this way of contoured them which I think it will work better if I just put a single terry soaker in the middle what do you think?!?!?!

will you use two prefolds per contour? I think that will be good, and maybe a layer or two of something in between. Definitely better then them alone!

This is the tutorial I used to take my toddler sized pfs to fitteds. I love them now. granted they were premium toddler pfs and not the gerber- but the fitted with elastic and velcro works so well for us. I also use a fleece liner and I mad doublers by sandwiching flannel and microcloth (those shammy things used to wash cars). Many layers of the micro and flannel serged together. Awesome.

yes I would definitely do two prefolds and I bought terry cloth fabric was thinking of using 2 or 3 layers of it in the middle.

iowaorganic wow I kinda like that pattern better but I don't have a serger can I just use zig zag stitching then straight stitch over it?

here's something I saw on dsd-- you do not have to serge, you can add some seam allowance and T&T. It's something that you can just play around with until you get what you want!
