Well, most of this pregnancy the name has been Nora/Norah. It means Light. I love the name...but I feel I need a second option so when we see her we can decide.

My son's name is Elliot Matthew (Matthew is my husband's name) and my name is Kathryn. What sounds best together?

Nora means "Light".
Olivia means Olive Tree but is symbolic of beauty, fruitfulness and dignity and the tradition of offering an olive branch symblolizes peace.

Kathryn/Katelyn means "Pure". I am considering Katelyn because my mom's name is Linda and I'd like to add "Lyn" to honor her, too.

I don't care about popularity at this point...i just want something we love. I know Olivia is #7 for 2007.

Thanks!

I should also ask if you like Nora, should I do it with an "h" or without? I go back and forth...

Nora or Norah?

Popping in from May... I love the name Nora. Or Norah. Olivia is VERY popular right now.

I like Norah, with the H. I also think either Kathryn or Katelyn is cool. I'm also choosing to honor my mother with a middle name if we have a girl, but for me it's because she passed away this year and I miss her.

I think I like Norah with an 'h' better. All those names are really pretty!
