Can KONOS be a little less christian?

I have no problem with mentioning christian beliefs once in a while, and really the character traits are something I want my children to learn, but I don't want something that has too heavy of religious tones. I've never seen the actual materials, so I don't know how deeply christian it is, but would it be easy to taper it down a bit?

For example, I looked at the free 1 week download unit which had to do with knights I think. It talks about how knights did anything they had to, even died for their kings and queens out of obedience to their authority figures. I agree that it is good to show children that they should show respect and listen to authority figures, but I don't know if I would go into the part of the curriculum that talks a lot about how people died for Jesus because they believed in him so and how they would feel if they didn't have freedom to read their bibles and made to throw them away etc, etc. That seemed a little to heavy into the religion in my opionion. So is it easy to tweak things a bit so they are not so heavily religious? Other then that, KONOS looks great!

hmmm, i'm not sure. i don't own it unfortunately because it's so expensive & i've never looked into using it in another way. i do know a lot of christian curriculum can be used secularly though with little effort. here's an interesting link i found when i googled "konos+secular". it has some ideas that may be beneficial for finding the right fit for your family & it says KONOS can be used without the christian slant hth!
