The "I might be pregnant but I wasn't trying" thread - Page 80

Well I am posting in my own thread once again!!

When I started this thread over 2 years ago, I was hoping for an oops. When that didn't happen, dh and I started discussing leaving our fertility up to God and didn't use bc the next month. So I conceived and now have my little Oliver who is 18 months old.

After he was born my health took a nose dive and we decided we would continue to chart and TTA until things got better in that department. In fact, we're kind of thinking we don't want any more kids now. We waiver, but it has been discussed many times.

I'm still breastfeeding but my cycles resumed when he was 9 months old. We DTD on CD9 and he accidentally pulled out a little late. The majority made it out, but the first bit made it in. I wasn't worried because I only had sticky CM at that point, but by evening it was watery and continued until I ovulated on CD14. I *highly* doubt the sperm would live 6 days (or is it 5? Dh says 9-14 is five and I say 6) especially since it was a small amount that was there anyway. However, I am nervous about it, and am coming back to this thread.

Here is my chart. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2be681 Does anyone have any idea why I would have eggwhite at 5dpo??

Hopefully someone else will join me!

ETA: All the X's on my FF friend are protected except for the slip on CD 9 (the first X)

I hope things go the way you want them to... but I just wanted to say don't count on 6 days being to long as my 6 days away from O tta baby is 17 months now ( & also a boy! despite the whole have sex as far away as possible for a girl thing...lol)

Best of luck getting the outcome your hoping for!

My one piece of hope in actually being pregnant was that it would probably be a girl.

Well, I'm thinking it may not be possible because it was just the first slip, and not a whole lot. So I"m not sure so little could survive for so long. Kwim?

ETA: How are you detoxing? Are you still bfing?

First let me say that is awesome you are back in a thread that you started so long ago! LOL It has been a great resource for many.
The EWCM is very common post O -some women get a secondary surge that causes it. Doesn't mean anything (pg or not).
And the odds are in your favor for not being pg, but not impossible. Good luck!

I have a tubal ligation scheduled for the end of the month. I got married when I was 18, planned on waiting til my late 20s to start having babies, had my first when I was 19, and #2 two years later. Then we were done having kids... except that #3 was born on April 2 this year. Three methods of birth control, three bc failures, three kids.

I was on Depo Provera after this last birth and when I called to schedule my booster, I found out I was a week late. *facepalm*

That's the only reason I have to think I might be pregnant, but seriously, this would be just another bc method that didn't work.

Of course, I posted on this thread about a year ago, and now I have little cutie-pie Naomi, and I love her to bits. Photo!

Heidi- Your little girl is sooooooooo cute!!

Are you going to be taking a test anytime soon?

I can't believe you've had so many failures. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get the result you want. Keep me updated.

Hopefully someone else will come along and post soon.

I am having MAJOR cramps/pains along with a lot of creamy/watery fluid. I also had eggwhite when I went to the restroom this morning, before I had cramps. It's like I'm ovulating. Could the cramps+CM be a sign of implantation??

I did ovulate right? http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2be681

Unless there is reason for those temps to be inaccurate? I'd say that temp jump is pretty definite.

Nope, no reason. I thought it was funny how a lot of them were the same during my pre o phase. lol

Hey all! I've been here a few times over the last year and of course, it was the time that I wasn't even thinking about it that I actually became pregnant! Nothing made me think I was pregnant and just out-of-the-blue, I decided to test on the day AF was supposed to start with a test that had been sitting in my house for maybe 4 months and WALA - Definitely not planned and this means 4 babies in 5 years for us!! We are excited though

Congrats to you!!!!!!

I took a $Tree test tonight knowing it was too early (6dpo). I swear there is a line though! I'll just keep testing once a day until AF shows (or doesn't). http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2be681

Thanks for the compliment on my little girl! She's too precious.

I have to take a pregnancy test before my tubal, so I guess if it comes back positive, I'm not getting the tubal. I might not be able to wait until then, though. I might cave and get a home test before then. I'll try not to, though!

When is your tubal? I'll be excited to hear you results.

I took another $Tree test this morning with FMU and got a darker line than yesterday. However, it doesn't really look like it has much/any color to it. I'm pretty sure they're just evaps. It's too early for anything anyway (7dpo), especially since these tests aren't that sensitive. It's fun to pee on something though, just in case. I have 2 more tests that I'll use tomorrow and saturday. If I don't get a BFP by then I will get a FRER because that is my #1 go to test. Never fails me either way. I just didn't want to spend the money so early. By then I will be 10dpo.

The tubal is on the 27th. I wasn't keeping track of my ovulating, so I have no idea when I would even test, but I figure by the 27th, it should be clear.

Depo expired on the 3rd and last dtd unprotected on the 6th. I'm still nursing at least every four hours, but I did get my period once, so who knows. Chances are pretty slim, but just knowing how easily I get pregnant...

LOL I thought for sure he would be a girl but despite very much wanting a girl I'm very happy he is who he is

I guess only time will tell eh? waiting to find out really sucks though... :P

I'm getting my mercury fillings replaced and doing a gluten/yeast free diet alone w/ a candida/parasite cleanse & still figuring out what I'm doing to get rid of what is left of the mercury and the large amount of cadmium I some how got...

And here I am again. I'm not charting (twins=no sleep=no temping), but just keeping track of my cycles and find that I'm late. The only BC we've been using is condoms, but haven't had any breakage. So while I *know* I'm not pregnant (or at least know it's highly, highly unlikely), I still don't like the fact that my monthly visitor is past due. I decided yesterday (the latest day that she could show and be *on time*) that I'll test no sooner than next Friday. That should give Mother Nature plenty of time to arrive, right?

Kimmiepie... Good to see you on this thread again! I was clicking around tonight instead of sleeping (always a bad idea), and read several of your original posts. I knew you must have got preggo because of Oliver on your sig!

We were a little careless this month and did it unprotected on CD 17, even though I know that CD 19 is a much safer bet. I also wasn't charting as I should have been, but didn't notice the normal fertile signs and mucus progression that I usually do. I was just wet on and off with mucus sometimes, and no real pattern. So I'm waiting for Monday, and the latest Wednesday to get AF or test. What's funny is even though we aren't trying now, and actually planning to wait until late Spring, this thinking of preg stuff has made hubby really want to try next cycle if this one is nothing. Still BFing, but son is 25 months, so it's not a bad time for a kid. We shall see...

Danelle... I think waiting a bit longer is a fine idea, but the waiting game is hard. With more stress (sounds like you've got some with twins and little sleep :-)), sometimes cycles are longer. Can't wait to hear what happens though!
You're right, the waiting game is hard, but I also don't want to wonder afterwards if I tested too soon. I want to be *sure* of the result, ya know?

Did you test yet?
