Musicteachermom- How many dpo are you?


AFM: I tested. Both FRER's were BFN. I'm 10 dpo today so I am expecting AF in the next day or three. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2be681 I have to admit I was disappointed. Oh well. Not the best time anyway. Plus, as far away from O as our oops was I knew it was a teensy chance as it was.

I can't believe I'm posting here again.

Last time I posted a looong time ago, I thought I had gotten AF and that was that. Well, it turns out that it was just some random bleeding, and that baby is now 17 months old.

Now I'm hoping that posting here will bring on the real AF.

DH had a vasectomy early last month, but he never went back to get his swimmers checked. Yeah, not so smart. The upside is that I've only had two postpartum periods, so my cycles aren't exactly regular and reliable yet.

In any case, I'm nervous. I'll be testing in the next couple of days if AF hasn't shown up yet. Comforting words are more than welcome!

Not sure how many dpo I am... cause I'm not sure when I ovulated. I am CD 25 today, and usually get AF between CD 26 and CD 28. I had tacky mucus today, so not sure what that means??!! Just strange stuff this month, so it's so hard to predict. If no AF by Wednesday, I'll test, and a little of me is hoping it doesn't show. Thing is, I'd like a kid soon, but if I wait until Spring to get preggo, there is so much more chance of me staying home longer than 6 months, and not having to do the awful pumping 4x a day at work like last time. Oh well, we'll see.

I wish I could be more informed about my cycles. If I could actually temp, I might be relieved because I'd know if I even ovulated this month. Which it would be really weird if I didn't since I've been regular for the last 10 months. And that's what troubles me. Only once since AF returned at 8 months, has my cycle been more than 28 days--and she came at day 30. Now I'm at CD 33 and NOTHING. I wonder how likely it is to get pregnant using condoms without one breaking?

I get all kinds of CM somtimes no matter where I am in my cycle. It doesn't always mean something, especially if you've already ovulated. Sometimes women who don't normally see CM after O will see some because there is a second estrogen surge in the luteal phase, or the first part of the endometrium to come out before AF is more watery and clear.

s: I'd say it's probably really unlikely that you are pg. So that should be comforting. Especially since you said that you have only had a couple of cycles so far. It's likely that you didn't ovulate at all or you ovulated late etc. Good luck!!! KUP

Why can't you temp?

I think if the condom didn't break (and you weren't poking holes in them ) it's very unlikely. You probably didn't ovulate at all or ovulated late, therefore delaying AF. When are you testing?


AFM: I can feel AF coming on. My temp is still up, but it is 11dpo and it's almost always still up at this point. TCOYF gave me a triphasic pattern today...which is weird because my temp is not any higher than the many previous ones. The only thing I can figure out is that it gave me a triphasic pattern for the rise at 5dpo...but why give me that info now at 11dpo?

I took a $Tree HPT this morning - BFN. I'm on CD37, but I don't know when or if I O'ed. I'm feeling very crampy and PMS-y and have been for the last week. I just wish AF would show up and put me out of my misery.

So I'm stalking the forums during my TWW! I'm not temping as I have a 9mo nursing son who keep son up all night! I've been regular with 28-29 day cycles since 9 weeks postpartum and this cycle we BD on CD14. I don't know when I O'd but I did have EWCM on CD13 and CD14, dry on CD15 and now on CD16 stretchy but white instead of clear.

What are my chances of pg not knowing when I O'd and only BD once? I'd love to be pg but can't imagine it this easy and trying not to get my hopes up!! With my first pregnancy we got pregnant the first month we tried and I did chart (Jan 2008 http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/250614).

Well I am def not pregnant. I took a Clearblue Easy Early Result just now and total BFN. Even for a blue dye..no hint of a line. I'm guessing the intense left sided cramping I had on 5dpo, and the intermittent light cramping in the same area since is just a cyst? Or who knows, but I am not pregnant.

I'm starting to worry. I've got heartburn--a little yesterday and more today. But that still can be chalked up to stress. But then again, I looked at the insert in our box of condoms and the failure rate is 2-15%. I told hubby and he was surprised--he thought they were 99%. He had agreed to get the V when the twins were born, but he's since chickened out. I know I was secretly hoping for an 'oops' in a year or two, but this is way too soon!

I bought a test off ebay today so I'll test when it comes.

I think if you had EWCM when you BD then you have a good chance! Good luck!

Hope you get the outcome you want! I've been having heartburn, too, as well as every other symptom in the book, and yet I got a bfn today. You never know...

Okay guys, last night when I took this test I threw it away before the time limit because I didn't see a line come up immediately. I was frustrated and called it a negative. Well, a few minutes later it dawned on me that something similar had happened when I was pregnant with DS1. I had taken the test and then threw it away b/c the line didn't show up immediately. At that point I was already late too! A few minutes later I dug it up and there was a line! Of course I really was pregnant that time.

Anyway, I picked it up to look at it and there was a faint line. Almost the same color as the - line but a little lighter...the - line is really light too so I'm wondering if the dye on that side is really light for some reason??

I had a really hard time getting good pics, but even dh could see it, which is rare for light lines. I know it's a blue dye so I'm not holding much hope. AF is due tomorrow and I do feel like she's coming, but this was at least a little exciting. What do you think?

The test was taken yesterday evening at 11dpo with very little pee. lol

Why is the "not pregnant" line so light also? I can see the second line but it's a blue dye test...do you have dollar stores near you?

I'll tell you what, I felt like AF was coming (achy/crampy and all) and she still hasn't shown. I see the line. It's a squinter, but it's there. I can't say about your chart--I'm too out of practice to be able to interpret anything from it.

I'm at CD 34 now. My heartburn has morphed into heartburn/nausea combo. Plus, I am super, duper emotional (like cry-at-the-drop-of-a-hat emotional, which is SOO not me). I think I'm pregnant and I'll be very surprised if the test is negative.

See that's what I was saying. The - line is so light that maybe my + line would be lighter than it should be as well??

I actually got this one from the $Store! They were out of the "Baby Test" and only had blue dye options. I chose this one because I thought it would be more reliable than the other two they had. Guess not.

I'm not getting another test until I am late (which would be thursday) because they only have the blue dye at the $Store next to me right now and it is a long drive to the next town. So I will wait. It's torture though.

I'll be testing whenever the test arrives in the mail. I honestly don't know which way I want it to go. If it's negative I'll be relieved because the last thing I want is a newborn and twins in the midst of the terrible twos. But if it's positive, I can accept that will be happy about it (at least I'll have all the clothes and dipes I'll need, right?). I didn't think I could handle twins either, but I've managed to keep both of them alive this long so I must be doing OK.

AFM: CD38, took another $tree test and got another bfn. I've never had a cycle last this long before, but I suppose there's a first time for everything! I'm thinking I just might not have ovulated. Who knows? I'll test again Thursday or Friday just to be sure.

Wow, the board is getting insteresting!

Kimmipie - Can't wait to see what the test says tomorrow. It's a close one.

Danelle - I also feel so crampy and achy, but I'm only on CD 27, so it could just be AF coming.

The funny thing is, when I was preggo last time, I didn't have many symptoms until after implantation, and then it was just being very tired and napping (which is normal for me now) and feeling like AF was coming for a while. I did temp this morning which I haven't done since before my 2 year old was born, and it was 97.9. This makes me think that AF is coming, because when I was preggo, temp stayed well above 98.2 and never dropped, but I remember reading somewhere that temp drops right before AF. It's also hard to know because I haven't temped in so long so nothing to compare to.
