The stabbing cervix pains have got to stop!!

Ugh, this happens every night. I swear she is so calm and peaceful during the day and I guess mostly sleeping. She moves a little during the day but not enough to make me cringe.

Then the night comes! The pressure and stabbing pains in my cervix literally have me cringing, of course there is more pressure on my bladder too so I'm in the bathroom every 5 min. I feels like she snuck an ice pick up there with her and is slowly picking away at my cervix. Ugh, if it's that important then just COME OUT!!!

OMG! I was just sitting here screeching out in pain as she moves her head across my cervix (OUCH!!!) and then back and forth hitting each of my groin tendons. Seriously, this hurts, little one!!!!!

Ouch. Hope she gives you some relief soon.

Seriously, though? These days, I relish even that pain, because I pretend it means something is *happening*.

This was happening to me a ton last night. As we are lying in bed I told DH that I knew his little game and that he had somehow snuck a fork in to her. She jsut keeps stabbing away.

I agree with Ironica: It must be something happening right!

I get those a lot at night, especially when climbing the stairs. I also delude myself into thinking that my cervix is just opening up to something like 8cm w/o me even feeling too terribly bad.

Good thing I dont plan on any vag exams to dispute my theories.

I was thinking the same thing--it's best for me just to assume that all these contractions are doing something. It was depressing to be just past 1 cm after having serious contractions for hours with my first.

I get those cervix pains, too. What is it anyway? I figure it must be the head, but it feels more like punches or something sharper than a head.

I think it's just the head hitting nerves but it seriously feels like she has super long nails and she's scratching or clawing at me! Luckily they've gotten a little better over the past few days and now it's more pressure than anything.
