Breastfeeding books for kids

Hi!

I write children's book reviews and have been having a heck of a time finding good picture books that have bf in them.

Any suggestions?

I really want to do a review for other moms like me, I am sick of only seeinf bottles in books!!!

Right off the top of my head, one of the Dr. Sears guys wrote a book called "What Baby Needs" designed for big siblings to prepare them for the baby coming. I have 3 books on this topic, and the Sears book is the only one that shows baby nursing. It also says "When mommy is away, she may pump some breastmilk so daddy can give baby a bottle" or something like that!

Go to Amazon.com and click books and search "breastfeeding", then look under children's books. You will find TONS of books for kids on breastfeeding. 4 that my kids liked were:

Breastmilk Makes My Tummy Yummy (a fun rhyming board book)
Maggie's Weaning (a true story about a toddler's weaning)
I'm Made of Mama's Milk
If My Mom Were a Platypus (a book about all different nursing animals)
How Was I Born? (an excellent book that shows a mom nursing her newborn after birth and even shows an uncircumcised boy)

The only one they really didn't care for was "Michelle, The Nursing Toddler".

'We have a baby' is a cute one Levi likes -
it says 'We have a baby to ____ ' on each page, on the 'feed' page it shows mom bfing baby while reading to an older child - nice pictures.
