Integral Education, heard of it?

Has anyone had experience with "Integral Education"? There is a school here in San Diego, "Integral Elementary" that says it is part of an educational movement originating in India. www.integralelementary.com

They also say they are not religious, but it certainly sounds like its connected to a particular spiritual leader/movement. (But, so does Waldorf, and even, to some extent, Montessori).

Thanks,
Emma

I have not heard of this, but from reading around the site it sounds similar to Waldorf in that there's a spiritual undertone prevalent. However, if I were near such a school, I'd be interested to learn more about.

I'm visiting the Integral preschool next week (wednesday) and if I learn anything interesting from the visit, I'll post an update. My son will start kindergarten in fall 2009 (well, if he goes to public school, and SOME private schools. He's born in November). This school is literally down the road, so I imagine we'll be considering it then.

We have also been visiting Montessori and Waldorf schools. They are all SO overloaded with applications that I don't even think we have a chance at sending our son there.
