Advice on short cycle

Hi -
I'm new here, and looking for your thoughts (or to be directed to previous posts) on my short cycle and how that will effect me TTC.
My cycle is 21 / 22 days and as of this morning am using a basal therm. to see if i can track my lutuel phase, (which i just learnt about this week).
Everything I've googled has mostly confused me, or dashed my hopes - does anyone have any advice?
Thanks heaps -
Tylwyth.

first of all, are you counting from the first day of your period until the first day of your next period?

some women with short cycles just ovulate earlier than CD 14 - it isn't a problem.

check taking charge of your fertility out from the library and read it - it will tell you everything you want to know.

thanks texas peach!
I will pop to the library tomorrow.
I am counting from day 1 to day 1 - it sucks, there's only 2 weeks and few days in between periods. and when they are here, they are HERE!

Take at least 200 mgs of B6 all the way up to 100 mgs. It can help lengthen your lp.

I have heard a lot of women having success with chasteberry. Once you figure out how long your luteal phase is it will be easier to figure out if there is a problem. If your cycles are short but you ovulate early it won't be a problem. If you ovulate late that will be a problem.
