Can you call your mw? It's likely they'll want you to go in now (and I'd be inclined to with greenish waters). Good luck.

this probably means your baby had a bowel movement. I think you should go to the hospital now because the baby can get meconium aspiration which will block his airways.

I would go ahead and go in with greenish waters because my first though is meconium. Good Luck and peaceful happy birthing!

I would go in ASAP with meconium in the waters. Good luck!!! Peaceful labouring wishes go to you.

ETA: sorry just realised this is a DDC. I'd still go in right away though.
Sometimes babies can expel meconium prior to birth due to distress. And then, yeah, there's the risk of aspiration.

I hate saying it but I agree. The exceptions for me would be VERY light staining, or the baby already being well engaged i.e. the head far enough in the birth canal that it's face is no longer in water, but it doesn't sound like this is the case with you. If you're comfortable keeping a close eye on the kick count and HB you might contemplate waiting it out, but be prepared to leave (or call an ambulance) asap during labor, or immediately after the birth.
Again... I'd just go now, this could very well be one of those instances where intervention is required.

Agreeing with everyone else. Good luck.

If the water is greenish but not chunky at all please don't worry too much, baby might have pooped within the last couple of days and it's just clearing out. It would be good to monitor the baby at the hospital but you should still be able to get off the monitors and walk around when you want (remember this is YOUR birth!). Also, it's not necessary to suction the baby on the perineum but most hospitals do this if there is any meconium present in the water. Just something you might want to talk to them about.

Have a great birth!

There's two risks with meconium in the water:

1) It can be a sign that baby has experienced distress, or a hypoxic episode. *If* that's the reason, the cause *might* be recurring, and baby may need additional assistance or may need to come out NOW.

2) When baby is born, if there is meconium in their mouth, they may inhale (aspirate) it with their first breath. As the stuff is like tar, it can be VERY difficult to clean out of the lungs and may cause them breathing difficulties and pneumonia-like symptoms for several days, requiring NICU care. (This is less likely if the cord is NOT clamped immediately, since babies tend to gasp after the cord stops providing them with blood supply).

If you feel comfortable with it, you can wait a couple hours and see if the water runs clear. That would mean that they pooped once, but they haven't again since, and so in case #1 there's probably not a recurring or ongoing problem. It also means that, since the water is clean, #2 isn't so much of an issue.

When my water broke with DS, there was a LOT of meconium, but a few hours later it was all gone. There was no sign of distress or hypoxia, and of course, aspiration wasn't an issue as the meconium had been gone for a day and a half by the time he was born.

Good luck to you and peaceful birthing vibes....

Just so you ladies know.. meconium is not always a bad thing. It can just be a sign of maturity in the babe and cause no problems what-so-ever.
