I think you should call the cable company and yell at them for keeping you pregnant for an extra day and a half!!!!!

Hm, if this baby's a boy, don't you need to name him Jim? ;-)

Good luck!

How about the name Dwight?

Very happy for you and extremely jealous!

LOL we joked about naming him Michael last night. Buuuut I don't think so.

It seems like the ONLY way I can get ctx going is by walking. We've gone on 2 good walks now and I'm kind sick of it, really. But we're having a good time...doing some light housework and laundry, baking cookies...thinking about putting in Ratatouille to watch...

Is this normal? My water's still trickling a little but the ctx just won't pick up and keep up. And only a few have really been uncomfortable!

My cx were painless for about 4 hours. When they started picking up it went fast though

um....i would go to sleep and save your energy! my biggest regret!

I'd been thinking about a nap. Although it's hard when my water broke just as I woke up from a good night's sleep-I don't feel sleepy at all.
Well I'm gushing a bit more now. M/W is coming out to my house to have a listen to the baby's heartbeat, and take it from there. I'd be totally ok with just having baby out by the evening...just in time to go back to bed!

Avocado...good to know, thank you! I've been annoyed that I only seem to be having BH contractions...lol. Been feeling as though they couldn't possibly be 'doing anything'! I'll be expecting something more soon, then.

I second the sleep, go take a nap! Then you'll be so excited when one is good enough to wake you up
post #14 of 19
Ohhhhh! How exciting! I hope that the baby check goes well, that you can get some rest and then wake up in labor-labor!!!
And you are baking cookies again today?! By the time the baby arrives, you'll be able to hold a bake sale!

Other boys' names:
Rowan
Blake
Micah
Finn / Finley
Emmett
Cookie

LOL! My friends keep EATING all the cookies! I'm making more so that I can take them to my midwife's when it's time to get down to business-a little something for her and her assistant and my doula to snack on!
She said everything sounds great-I'm to eat a light lunch, take a nap, go for a walk, then pull out the breast pump. And then things should roll along quite nicely!
My stepmom is on her way-she's about 4 hours away yet I'd say. She should make it here in plenty of time-one thing I was a little worried about.

kjoy-"Cookie Loose"? Has a nice ring to it!

From experience with #1, I don't care how good your breastpump is, I say toss it out the window and put your husband to work. It's probably about time a man did something helpful for once, anyway!

OK... Ok... I realize now, that might have been too much....
