Natural Wart Remover for Kids?

My DD has a strange wart on the bottom of her foot.

Is there a natural option out there for getting rid of them? Once again, my google search has failed me...

Oh, and I should also maybe ask - it's not something I need to take her to a dermatologist for, right?

For some reason, I recall that vitamin E oil helped remove a plantar wart from my sister's heel as a child and from my fingers as a child. Just break a vitamin E capsule and apply it to the wart.

My mom applied it nightly, put a cotton ball on the wart and taped it on. It seemed to work. I have no warts today. AFAIK, warts are caused by a virus.

Ok, here's an opportunity for me to look like a crazy person.

My mother used to cut a potato and then rub it (the 'potato' part) in a circular motion on the wart. The only thing is; I can't remember for how long per day; and I can't remember how long it took to get rid of it. I do remember it worked.

Also; I had a wart on my hand when I was a kid. My grandma told me to pee on it (ew, I know); and that it would go away. I remember the potato one better because it was more recent and I was younger when I had mine; but I seem to remember finally caving and doing so; and I remember it working as well. I don't remember if I washed my hand after that or what.

If you want me to ask my mom about the potato; just PM me and I will get more details from her about it. Ok; I'm officially leaving this thread with a bag on my head :

I hadn't heard the pee on it solution! My ds would like that one

My ND recommended covering it with a small circle of duct tape and replacing that as it fell off.

My DD just did this last summer and it WORKED! She's a runner and has to have her feet in tip top shape too, so it was a biggie that it actually worked after spending tons of money on the chemical 'crap'.

Just make sure and keep socks on to keep the tape in place, and it may come off with sweating, so replace it often.
