craft circle is...?

The craft circle sounds so cool...but what is it? I understand it is a craft exchange...but what sort of things do you all make? I would love to join next months but have a fear i am not up to par in the craft dept....how about a not so crafty circle :LOL? I can crochet and do needlework....but other than that I am at a loss. Do you have a limit on the amount of time and money you put into a project...or did i just not do a good enough search to find this stuff out?
TO EDIT~ okay I found the thread with the ideas in it. Do you know ahead of time what you will be getting? Is swapping allowed anytime? I'd love one of those waldorf style dolls for my DD........

I am ALWAYS swapipng with people, but mostly with the same group. We have been swapping around our circle for over a year now, and it is nice because we all know each other and inspire each other

Getting into the monthly craft swaps here is a good place to start, and you get to know people as you go that way, and once you know them better, you will become more inspired to try new things etc...

Also, I often offer trades to wahms when I want somethign I cannot afford, and more often then not, tehy are willing to barter or trade
