I do not like the first trimester!

Seriously. I feel like crap, but I can't tell anyone besides DH (who is never around)and my Mom/sister.

I can't WAIT to be able to feel the baby kick and move around, that is the best feeling ever!

I don't want to rush things because this is in all likelyhood my last pregnancy, but I just don't have many positive feelings about the first 12 weeks

Maybe I should say "screw the budget" (as if we actually had/followed one ) and get a bunch of Earth Mama Angel Baby stuff to make me feel better

I just don't like being PREGNANT period!

After my sickness wears off I've got 6 months of constant prelabor contractions to look forward to, heartburn, hemorrhoids, back pain, nonstop urination, sleepless nights, it will become increasingly difficult to breath, and the baby will start "clawing" at my cervix, or so it feels like, like my last 2 did... among other wonderful things...

There are the nice moments, but for the most part I really don't like it.

We're planning a vasectomy.

I'm with you! With DS I could have done without the first trimester. But the rest was wonderful! I felt absolutely great. Can't wait till that time comes...

I feel the same way. I'm so whiny because I hate this part soooo much.

Yeah, I've already told all kinds of people because I feel like junk, and I'd rather they know why. lol! I know what you mean, though.

So are we. And I just ordered 4 things (of which only 1 is for the kiddos), I can't wait to get them; I never get stuff for me!

Yeah, this is so rough. I'm completely exhausted and nauseated, but I have a toddler demanding my attention, input, and milk. All I want to do is lay down and sleep or read, but that is impossible. My mom is too exhausted to help much, and my husband has a full schedule and isn't very "into" the pregnancy until it becomes more physical/real. I feel abandoned and sleepy and like I can't keep up with even the basic demands of my life-- dishes, laundry, toys off the floor, trips to the park. And food is a daylong obsession-- what I can eat, what I will eat, what I want to eat but won't, what totally grosses me out. I can't even cook, because I can't stand the smell.

Add to that the fear/concern that eats at me every second until I see a heartbeat on an ultrasound and the crazy hormones, and i'm a big ol' sack of crazy.

I'm so excited, but this. sucks. Nice to vent amongst those feeling the same!

I totally feel the pain. I'm already soooooo done with the first trimester!

oh wow - you women are speaking my mind! this is my first and is very very wanted but I've really been questioning myself, especially over the weekend.

I had this vision of pregnancy that was so far removed than what it is so far. My DP is trying so hard to be supportive and loving and provide for me all that I need to be happy but she just can't. The fact is that I feel sick and tired all the time and no amount of love and understanding can change that - which frustrates us both.

Fingers crossed for a neat line ruled on this crappiness at 13 weeks.
