Hi everyone!
Tooby, I'm soooo tired too! Last pregnancy was so easy. It was my first one and I could sleep whenever I wanted to. With a high-energy 20 month old, it's not so easy. The fact that the last two nights she's nursed at least every hour doesn't help much either.
Sarah, too bad the m/s kicked in for you. I've just been feeling queasy in the afternoon and evening, same as last time. I haven't vomited, but I just have no appetite.
I have my first appt with my midwife on Nov. 7th. I can't wait. She was there for dd's birth and she's awesome. She runs the birth center in the hospital. She's the only one who delivers there, but there's a doctor who comes in for emergencies and c-sections. It was pretty much like having a homebirth since I didn't even leave the house til I was in transition. I didn't even feel any contractions until then! Dd was about 5 minutes from being born in the car! Dh got to catch dd and everything. It was just awesome. We did have a doula, but she didn't arrive in time for the birth. That saved us some money and we realized that we really don't need a doula with the midwife we have.
Anyway, I love this thread and I can't wait to get to know you mamas better! I'm off to try to get dd to take a nap with me!

: I told him this morning that maybe it's a sign of good things to come....if the dreams keep up like this....once I start feeling better....he's going to be a very lucky man!
