Totally TMI, so turn back now.
DH and I DTD trying to maybe get things started, and then I decided we'd better get some sleep since it's already late and if we are getting things started then we should be well rested! HA! Now my arm is all uncomfortable and wanting to move and I just can't get to sleep. None of my usual remedies are working, so here I am.

Wow, I so could have written this post last night!! My arm wouldn't stop, it was driving me nuts. I didn't get on the computer but I was up from 2am to 5am rearranging diapers and clothes and trying to make myself tired so I could get some sleep. Finally passed out at 5am after my arm finally settled down!
This has been an ongoing thing though and 1 more reason this baby needs to get out!!!

Yeah, it never did calm down all the way, but by the time I was nearly falling asleep at the keyboard it wasn't so twitchy. Finally I went to bed, layed down on my right side and tucked it under the mattress. When nothing else works, cutting off the blood supply does! I finally got to sleep sometime after 3am. ARGH!

The thing is, this used to bother me alllll the time, and I haven't had any episodes in a long time. It was very surprising that I had to deal with it last night. Even now it's still feels antsy. I'm gonna start taking some iron and folate, see if that helps.

I hope you get some relief soon! Sorry if you've heard this a million times, but have you tried Cal-Mag?
The Cal-Mag does seem to help some, I have been taking extra does of it and the iron. But the later in pregnancy I get the less it seems to help.

I second the Cal-Mag.

And maybe even some Rescue Sleep or Rescue Remedy

Ugh! The arm twitching has started already!

I've taken my Cal-Mag and my iron today and I can already tell it's going to be a long night

I think alot of it has to do too with the fact that I'm a tummy sleeper and for the past 4 months I've only been able to sleep on my left side or right side and it's gotten my shoulders out of whack. All I want is a good night sleep

Oh URG! Cal/Mag and Iron really helped me... but I also took it in tandem with a Vit C-apparently it helps you absorb the iron better. Soo sorry you're having this-it's MADDENING!

And I'm awake!

That certainly didn't last long, thought maybe just maybe I would get a little sleep tonight but nope I'm up again at 3am!

This baby needs to come out soon so I can actually get some sleep. On the outside at least I can nurse her and give her to DH to hold so I can get a little rest. Between the RLS and the insomnia from before I haven't had a night with 8 hours of sleep in over 4 months unless I take a sleeping pill and I hate to do that I'm seriously wearing thin
