I've been having BH for about the past week and they have been becoming more intense as far as the tightening sensation and more frequent. Late last night, they starting feeling different. I'm not going to call them painful, as I want to keep my qualifications for pain much higher than this, so I don't freak out later in labor. 
I guess it's just an ache low in my abdomen that radiates around to my back. During this time, my stomach has been getting harder than it usually does with BH. They also make me feel as if I need to use the restroom. These feelings were not enough to keep me up last night, but I'm still feeling them this morning. I've been having light bloody show for several days and lost my mucous plug a week-and-a-half ago. I'm 6 days past my "due date", so I'd be totally okay with being in labor!!!
