tried out a Savvy Rest mattress and liked it...questions if you have one!

We tried a Savvy Rest mattress this weekend at a local store that has one for you to play around with the layers and lay on. We really liked it!

I'm just curious what layers you went with if you have one. We tried firm/med/soft and liked it, then tried firm/med/med and that felt good as well. DH is a bigger guy, around 230 pounds, and I'm around 125...so I was thinking the firm/med/med might be better for us since he's a bit on the heavier set side.

So basically I'm just curious as to what you got and if you like it We're planning on getting one when we move into our new house sometime later this year.

I have a savvy rest mattress and love it. DH and I opted for the soft/med/firm layers. I don't know what size bed you are getting, but with our queen size, we could opt for different firmness on each side. In fact, even though DH and I have the same three layers, they are set up differently on the bed.

We have med/med/soft, and we love it. I'm 130 lbs and DH is 180 lbs. We got split layers, which is much easier to work with. I think that someday we'll switch our bed so that DH has med/med/med and I have med/soft/soft though.

Thank you guys for the replies! We're getting a king, so I may think about splitting the bed. I like the same firmness he does, but I wonder if he will sink into it more than I since he weighs a lot more than I do.

When you sit on edge of the latex bed does it cave in since it has no edge support?

Also I've read the beds smell when you get them, how bad is it? Does anyone have any tallalay versions of the SAvvy REst?

So confused on making this expensive purchase without being able to try one out.

We have the dunlop. Haven't tried the talalay.

It doesn't really cave when you sit on the side (not any more than a regular mattress), because the latex really is pretty firm.

I did not notice any caving with the one we tried out at the store...it was pretty firm. It was a firm/med/soft.

Thanks for feedback!

Will probably go with the recommended soft, medium, firm in the SavvyRest. We need a King, so muchos bucks! Want to get one for my 10 year old too. Have one year old too but she still sleeps with us most of the time. I'm in NJ and haven't found any latex beds around here to try out.

If you want to take a trip to Vt to try one out let me know :-)
I highly recommend the savvy rest. Have tried almost all of them.
