That's because pregnancy is calculated in a crazy way. The first day of a pregnancy is considered to be the first day of your last period. I still think it's ridiculous, actually. However, if you ovulated on the 5th (of April?), we will assume conception occured then, so the easiest way to figure it out is to subtract 7 days (March 29th), and then subtract three months (December 29th). So, your online calculator is exactly right. Puts you at about 4 weeks and 2 days, if you have the "typical" 28 day cycle. I have decided that it's not worth questioning, just accept it. Besides, it sounds better to say you're 4+ weeks pregnant than it does to say you're 2+weeks pregnant, right?
