What does it look like?? I just had bloody show last time around so I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for. I always have a lot of CM, but this morning it kind of looked like a booger (sorry, tmi!!). It was greenish tinted, semi-thick, and gummy, but no blood. I know this doesn't mean a whole lot, I'm just wondering if that is what I'm seeing.

Hmmm, this is my first pregnancy, so I'm definitely not a pro, but last week I lost what I can only imagine was the whole mucous plug over a period of a day-and-a-half. Mine was kind of as you described - a couple of large, thick, gummy, globby, chunks - very unlike any CM I've ever experienced and brownish in color (with some red streaks throughout). Since then, I've been bleeding lightly off and on. I read in my Dr. Sears birth book that it can be anywhere between three days and two weeks after loosing your mucous plug before labor begins, although it looks like some mom's loose their plug and start into labor right away. Anyway, it sounds like you are loosing yours! Sending labor vibes your way!!!

I was just going to post this cuz i dont' think i lost my plug until sometime in labor (i remember bleeding a lot but never noticing an actual plug...i was out of it).

But today i had a thick glob. But it was pure white...no streaks or off color, just really thick. i wonder if this was part???

Who knows. I'm sick of looking for signs b/c they just mess with my head. :

my mucus plug looked like a huge blob with a bit of blood streaked in it. the consistency was like an egg white, clear and blob-ish. my regular cm looks nothing like that, thats how I knew this was something different. plus it came out when I was using the restroom while I was in labor.

I've been losing mine in big chunks. It's white to clear depending but it's almost rubbery like and last night I had 2 big chunks that were blood streaked. Of course I got excited but nothing happened

Oh this is a way nasty description, but the best I can think of... mine looked like a huge white/slightly yellowish loogey my vag horked up.

Gawd! I have this awful image of an anthropomorphized cervix hawking and spitting like an old farmer! ROTFLMAO!
