Wool shorties nb pattern?

I want my mom to knit some wool shorties for my summer baby, and I was hoping someone could point me to a pattern for her (preferably free).

I'm not a big fan of knitting things in pieces, but maybe you can use the measurements from this pattern?

ok did a little investigating and here are some standard newborn measurements:

hip: 12" to 14"
rise: 12" to 14"
inseam: 4" to 6"
leg circumference: 6"
