It can take up to 3 weeks for dairy to leave your system then another 3 weeks for it to leave your dd's system. That means if you eat a good deal of dairy a week probably isn't long enough to see any improvement. For us and most babies I've seen with a dairy allergy the spitting up is the first thing to clear up and the eczema takes longer. My LO does this weird thing where he scrunches up while nursing and then relaxes ??? This really mind boggling to me .

We are on the shield too. He was almost weaned off it before we started supplementing, but now we are back on... but, at least now I know he can be weaned. And that pretty much happened on its own.
