Turnoff Week

Did anyone else see today's Parent Hack about Turn Off Week? I didn't know it was no longer called TV Turn Off Week because there is so much more to turn off than just TV.

I've been thinking about doing something with this for awhile. I guess I missed it this year, but will really try to organize something for next time. One thing I did get accomplished was posting a link to the Center for Screen-Time Awareness on my web page (I teach 7th graders). I asked my principal since we don't do anything as school with it and he was really enthusiastic about the idea.

Anyone else do something themselves or hear about it somewhere? Anyone want to start of list of ideas to promote tv-free week next year? Just a thought.
