All the creds for the pics go to pixiedust. She's totally awesome! There will be more soon, but she took about a million pictures and she's got her own life to attend to. I totally can't wait to see her work though.

yay! congratulations! ha - and you stinker, you are sooooo not the last of us to go

as for the cracked skin.... my skin really loves vitamin E oil. or do you have some lanolin cream or calendula already on-hand? maybe some real cocoa or shea butter? olive or coconut oil from the kitchen would work great too.

We don't' have a health food store here anymore, so it's got to be something a little more mainstream. We do have a kick a$$ grocery store with a nice "natural living" section, I might be able to find it there.
Get some Lansinoh lanolin ointment (the stuff that's just lanolin; not the stuff that has lanolin and a bunch of other ingredients) and use that. It works beautifully for all kinds of first-aid skin protection and healing. DH will use nothing else when his lips get chapped!

Oh, good thing I still have a ton of it from DS. I used some olive oil last night and that seemed to help. I'll use the lansinoh on the worst cracks and keep the oil for the dry skin.
