Soy in soap...

Does anyone know if soaponified soy oil is good/bad? We are soy free here (except fermented soy in cooking occasionally) and follow a lot of WAPF principles. Just wondering if anyone knows about topical soy vs ingested soy (which we're against).

Anyone?

I wouldn't think it would be a problem. It isn't hard to find soap made without soy, though. It isn't a common soap ingredient, if you're looking at natural soaps.

Yes, I know. I get this wonderful fresh goat milk soap from a local goat farmer- it's really nice stuff, but has soy oil as one of the ingredients. It's reasonably priced and I love to support my local farmers, KWIM?
