Thanks Mrs Miller for letting everyone know that Trevor was born!! Figured I should hop on and post a short birth story and some pictures!! Well, I was induced on the 16th so that Daddy could be here for the birth which was something we both really needed. My midwife felt like my body was really ready and that an induction would be pretty easy. We went in and got everything started and my body responded very well. I made it to 8 cms pretty quickly and without any pain medication. It got to a point where I just couldn't handle the contractions and I did get an epidural, it was definitely the right decision. Things started to go downhill when the baby started having decels and I stopped progressing, we tried different things but in the end me and hubby decided that a c-section was our best option. While it wasn't the birth I had imagined I am extremely happy with how it went and that we have our beautiful baby boy!! I have no regrets about anything that happened, and I am so thankful that hubby got to be there for everything!!
We have been home since Saturday and are doing great!! He is such a sweet baby. We are having a little bit of breast feeding trouble as far as his latch goes but we are pushing through and I have faith we can figure it all out. I am in a little bit of pain but not NEARLY as much as I thought I would be. I know that having hubby here made everything a million times easier! And now.. pictures!! I posted the link to my photobucket in the New Baby Pictures stickie but here are a few of my favorites.. and I got my wish, he looks so much like his daddy!!
