It's me again. Back here to sigh and complain. In addition to all the other ongoing health issues I have, my first digital mammogram came back as abnormal yesterday.

to all. Wishing you a fun weekend, and a Happy Halloween!

I'm so sorry. I can imagine you must be frightened, and feeling defeated. I know I would, in your position. I am thinking of you.

I'm sorry too, let us know what the next step is ok?
The waiting and not knowing is the worst.

i finally gave in and got some prescribed heartburn meds. so much better now! plus it was what i was on before and takes care of all the ulcers from crohn's so at least i feel better about taking care of some damage even if it means being on meds again. i'm also trying some natural stuff too but its too soon to tell how well thats working.
just stopping in -i've got dinner on the stove!

Hi there! Checking in.... So after much testing, it looks like dp has Addison's along with his Crohn's, and in fact much of his symptoms over the last few years may be more to do with that than his crohn's since his ct scans of his abdomen and pelvis all came back My wierd sodium stuff may actually be adrenal stuff too. I have had several alternative med care providers say so and even confirm it, but I quit paying attention a long time ago because the remedies cost too much, but to actually have an MD recognize it when I wasn't looking for it has got me a little stunned!
The answers are finally coming!

for everyone

Thanks to everyone for the kind thoughts!

I have a dr appt today to discuss the many, many, many ovarian cysts I have, the fibroid, the endometrial ablation, and the abnormal mammogram. I am dreading this appt, but also want to get it overwith.

I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Sending love. :

! I hope it's just the weird stuff some of our bodies like to make, and that they can just remove it or ignore it with no major events. The women in my family do this. I finally had a hysterectomy. I refuse to get mammograms anymore because I always have to get the ultrasound next anyway, and it's always something benign. sending good thoughts!!!

hmm seems like we've gone quite for a while....
maybe its the fast approach of the holidays? we were planning on staying home but turns out we'll be making a trip after all. not really looking forward to sitting 7-8 hours being 28 weeks pregnant! We plan on leaving really early in the AM so ds can sleep as much of the trip as possible. i should get started on packing but i'll probably do it the night before
we're also doing a it of last minute scurrying as we've gotten our first snow a few days ago and there are all those little things you don't think about till....
how is everyone doing? i know i'm doing surprisingly well (except when i have to get up for the millionth time at night and crawl over everyone!) now that i'm taking meds for the heartburn and probotics to help with crohns. thats still there of course but i'm feeling its manageable-today anyways.

Is anyone there?

Is this tribe still active? I've been looking for you all! I'd still like to keep in touch.

Is there a new chronically ill tribe thread that we're posting on? I posted a question in "Finding Your Tribe" this morning, before I found this old thread!

How is everyone? I'd love to hear updates...

I'm still very sick, fighting the chronic nausea and pain of the pancreatitis and SOD. Also still trying to figure out what's up with my bilaterally abnormal mammogram, and I have a follow-up for that in a couple of weeks. Also still dealing with the endometriosis, ovarian cysts, and pelvic pain. I had another surgery this past January to address that. Jury is still out on whether it was successful. And lastly, still have the asthma and blood disorder issues. Fun, fun.

So in spite of all the medical issues, I'm still trying to live as natural a life as I can. To keep my mind off things, my ds and I are planning what kind of garden we'll be raising. Also in the fall, we plan to start homeschooling kindergarten, even though I work outside the home part time. I have an excellent support system set up, though. So even though I'm stretched in a lot of different directions, I refuse to let these sicknesses rule my life. I'm doing what I can, day by day.

Sending and : to everyone.

Has anybody heard about the Buteyko breathing method? I was sent this link about http://learnbuteyko.com/buteyko-for-kids/ also check out the introduction video for parents because if what they explain is right sounds like it would benefit both child and parent any comments or suggestions would be appreciated - many thanks Bill
