Me being the teacher, and my seven year old son being the kid. Here's the conversation we had before he hopped into the shower tonight.
DS: Mom, guess what song Daniel and Kiran like?
Me: What song?
DS: We don't need no education. Hey, teachers, leave us kids alone!
Me: How do you all know that song?
DS: I taught it to them. I heard it on the radio in your car over vacation.
Me: And where were you singing this song?
DS: In the lunchroom, at the tops of ouir lungs!
: If ever I felt grateful not to be a teacher in his school, today is the day!
