how 'normal'?

So I went to my check up today and I'm 4cm, 100%, 0 station. She didn't really say whether or not she stripped my membranes, but I think she might have. She said baby was facing my left side and not in an optimal position for birth. I've been doing all the hands and knees stuff all day as well as nipple stimulation, orgasm, walking, RRLT, etc. Well, I've been VERY crampy and have had regular bleeding all day. It's not as much as a period, but every time I go to the restroom (TMI coming) there is probably almost a tablespoon of blood and a little mucous. My contractions aren't really any closer or stronger than they have been over the past few days, but I definitely feel stinging sensations in my cervix during them. Thoughts? Is this just 'normal' after a check like this or do you think this might be the beginning of anything? I know you can't tell for sure, but this is not what I experienced last time so I feel lost.

sounds to me like you are on the edge of labor! I was crampy after my membranes were stripped....either way, you are so prepped and nearly 1/2 way there, that it will be soon!

It's normal. Anytime the cervix is messed with it can cause bleeding and cramping.

I got my membranes stripped this morning and it was definitely obvious she did it as far as me feeling it, but my cervix sits posterior. I'm 3cm dilated. I have been crampy, not anymore contractions than recent, no blood since the initial stripping. I'm not really sure what is normal.
